has a tumor on her spine that is growing, causing problems with numbness
in her left side, and it is putting pressure on her internal organs. Her
physicians have determined that it is too risky to perform surgery due to
the tumor’s location. Julie is on new medications which seem to be
helping, but these medications cost $400 a month. She has extensive
medical bills to cover, as her private insurance policy has left many
outstanding debts. She recently lost her job as she was unable to work
from March until July 2008 because of her health. She is now employed and
is trying to get caught up on some of the outstanding
bills. For
